My Radiant Motherhood

I could not imagine my baby boy’s birth without Stephanie. For my daughter’s birth, we didn’t have a doula, so for this one, at first we didn’t consider it a priority. Needless to say, my husband and I are SO grateful for the blessing to have had Stephanie with us. The labor and birth of our baby didn’t go as planned and strayed from our desires. The moment we received news we’d have to transfer to the hospital, Stephanie was present with us, conveying all the options we had, was calm, direct, and respectful of our decisions, while also helping me feel at peace with God’s plan. As labor intensified and lasted what felt like forever, Stephanie was the rock we needed to continue. My dream was a non medicated birth, and delivering at the hospital, this dream can be easily dismissed. Throughout my entire labor at the hospital (which I wasn’t prepared for), Stephanie advocated for me, pushed me to keep my mind on God and my unmedicated goal, supported my husband with advice, tips, and breaks, all without being intrusive and allowing us to have the intimacy we desired. God has given Stephanie gifts of balance, confidence, and gentleness as a doula. We are extremely blessed and feel like it would’ve been a completely different night if we didn’t have Stephanie present with us. Thank you!
