Childbirth Doula

The Practicals

As your birth doula, I’m here to walk alongside you through one of life’s most sacred moments—bringing your baby into the world. Practically, I provide continuous physical, emotional, and informational support to help you feel confident, calm, and cared for throughout pregnancy and birth. This includes comfort measures during labor, birth plan preparation, partner guidance, and advocacy so your preferences are respected and your voice is heard.

Christ Centered

Spiritually, my approach is Christ-centered and biblically grounded. I believe birth is a holy moment where God’s presence can be tangibly felt, and I encourage inviting Him into every step of the journey. Together, we create an atmosphere of peace, prayer, and trust—allowing you to labor in faith, knowing the same God who designed your body for birth is with you through every breath and every contraction.

Why Invest in a Doula?

God designed birth to work best when you feel safe, supported, and surrounded by care. According to the Cochrane Review, women who receive continuous support during labor—especially from a trained doula—experience:

  • 39% decrease in cesarean births

  • 15% increase in spontaneous vaginal births

  • 10% decrease in use of pain medication

  • 38% decrease in babies with low five-minute Apgar scores

  • 31% decrease in dissatisfaction with their birth experience

A doula provides the steady, compassionate presence that allows you to labor without fear—physically supported, emotionally encouraged, and spiritually grounded in the strength God has given you.

I sought the Lord, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears.  Those who look to him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame.

Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.

Psalm 34:4-5, 8
